Eating nuts is a pleasure, and it is also very healthy!

In small quantities, nuts lower cholesterol levels, keep blood vessels healthy, and reduce the risk of arteriosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes. The American Heart Association recommends nuts as an essential part of a heart-healthy diet.

And as for holding the line, you don't need to worry at all if you consume between 30 and 50 grams of nuts daily. Instead of eating sweets or sweets, it is much healthier to snack on nuts, as they are very satiating, so they avoid unwanted hunger attacks, and their high fiber content it even helps with digestion.

In addition to the healthy Omega-3, Omega-6 fatty acids and linoleic acid, nuts contain a lot of secondary plant substances, digestive fiber, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Peanuts (which actually belong to the group of legumes) are the best suppliers of protein.

After a day with a lot of hectic and stress, or if we want to be mentally fit, nuts are great allies. They have a relaxing effect, positively influencing our mood and promoting concentration.

And something else: eat nuts ... It keeps us young! Especially Brazil nuts and hazelnuts are, due to their high content of selenium, “Little anti-aging miracles”. Selenium protects against free radicals and strengthens the body's defenses.
